1015 Locust

Originally built as a warehouse in 1921 for the Rice Stix Dry Goods Company and converted into an office space in 1959, 1015 Locust  is known as one of the most efficiently operated and service-oriented office properties in downtown St. Louis. This 270,000-square-foot, 12-story landmark provides tenants with quality office space, outstanding amenities and business services, one of the best parking-per-square-foot ratios in downtown, valet parking and professional on-site management.

Situated in the heart of St. Louis’ newly expanding loft district and adjacent to federal and civil courthouses, 1015 Locust offers a strategic downtown location and convenient access to public transportation and four major interstate highways. Current major tenants include Level 3 Communications and the St. Louis Development Corporation, as well as many of the city’s finest law firms.

1015 Locust Acquired by ICO in 2008, plans call for a major renovation of the main lobby, and selected multi-tenant floor lobbies and restroom facilities. In addition, the exterior of the building will be professionally cleaned and polished, and new distinctive entry canopies will be installed at the base of the building. A portion of 1015’s ground floor will be leased to new restaurants and retailers, providing convenient services to tenants. The building’s fresh new look signals the rebirth of this landmark structure.
